Sport Massage Therapist

Hi, I’m Hayley and I am a Sports Massage Therapist. Having had my share of sports massages over the years and having reaped the benefits from them I quickly found my calling in life.

I have always been very much into sports and fitness from a young age with PE being my favourite subject. A few years after leaving school I got into Martial Arts particularly Muay Thai and Kickboxing and not long after that took up Brazilian Jui Jitsu and became Derby’s first female cage fighter.

Nowadays you will either find me in the gym throwing some weights around or upside down with my new found love of Pole. I understand the frustration of day to day discomfort from muscles becoming tight and losing range of movement that can have an impact on anything from your sporting performance to getting a good night’s rest. It is something that I personally struggled with and now have regular sports massages myself and I cannot recommend them enough.

You don’t need to be an athlete to have a sports massage. It’s about getting that quality of life back and being able carry out day to day duties comfortably. I am really passionate about helping people reach their full potential whether that be running a marathon without any pain or being able to comfortably tie your shoes. Whatever it is I would like to help you achieve this!

Sports massage can really help with this by reducing tight muscles, improving soft tissue dysfunction, reducing DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness) increasing range of motion thus improving flexibility and even help reduce stress which can ultimately lead to muscle tension. It’s a win win!
