Parking tips

The closest car park is the pay & display on the Market place, however you can only park for one hour.

On the same street as the market car park just 100 yards further along (Wilmot Street) and on the same side there is a long stay pay and display car park, its just 2 minutes walk from the Acorn Centre. Thers also a long stay car park against the antiques centre (which is well worth a visit - its much bigger & quirkier than it looks), which is just around the corner.

There is also parking in the grounds of the old Grammar School which is free. This is accessed from Ilkeston road near the traffic lights and at the side of the consertive club.
